Apparently, if we want people to “behave better,” we need to dress better. Now that I have that lesson down, I need to learn exactly what “dress better” looks like. I heard something about pajamas and slippers, jeans, and a nice shirt?
I didn’t see anywhere that U.S. Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy is putting out a guide for people to follow along with their packing guidelines. Should we wait for further details before flying?
I won’t get wordy with this because the message is plain. What I WILL say is this, I can appreciate his desire to experience “nice and pleasant” things while traveling, but respectfully? No. I will NEVER dress “nice” when flying unless it’s my personal plane. Even then, it’s a reach because comfort comes first.
When you’re flying, it’s none of your business what anyone else is wearing or doing, unless they are hindering you from reaching your destination, or wasting your time and money.
You don’t know why someone is wearing pajamas or slippers, or even a bonnet. Unless you A.S.K. And even then, they are not obligated to respond. Mind your business. Periodt.
With all that is happening in the airline industry, what people are wearing on the plane should be of least concern. #Priorities
