Buckle up folks!
This ride gets a little bumpy.

After the ‘nth time of being called an “Angry Black Woman,” especially when I wasn’t angry, I figured I should take stock of what was being said and why. And then educate.

In this space, we “call a thing a thing.” So let me brush off my soapbox to set the record straight for the Blk Wmn who had the right to be angry but chose not to for the sake of avoiding the label. I see you Sister!

Blk Wmn are capable of feeling, experiencing, and expressing a spectrum of emotions besides anger. It's part of our Black Girl Magic to do so. Grant us the courtesy to not assUme you know our feelings without knowing us as as individuals.
