The Doctor Is In

As I operate in my gifts, I realize there is a special kind of peace in watching the table and room shift. There is also an adjustment period as you become aware of this shift and finally, when you see how it becomes apparent to others.

I am thankful for all the people in my life who give me flowers each time they see me. I am reminded of them in the places and spaces where I am silently handed a shovel without gloves. These responses have not caused me to diminish my gift by any means because I was not raised that way. They have caused me to find other "gardens" to work in so my gift is not wasted.

The tables and rooms that shifted for me created invitations to other tables and rooms I had no idea existed. I do not walk into those rooms or sit at those tables demanding anything. I am boldly and unapologetically there for everything they said I could not have, would not get, and did not deserve.

I recognize the grace.

And I am thankful for the feeling of being seen.
